Community Service
I have delivered meals to the home bound on Christmas and Thanksgiving since I was 5 years old through an organization called Meals on Wheels. I have also been teaching vacation bible school for two summers at my church Our Lady of Mt.Carmel to some very rambunctious elementary aged children. I have participated in cemetery clean ups, going to old, run-down cemeteries and cleaning, repairing, and adjusting tomb stones; cutting grass, raking, and cutting branches. Bringing the cemetery to the standards it deserves. I have also been part of an Adopt-A-Platoon committee, sending care packages and letters to soldiers over seas.
Athletics
I have played Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Track and Soccer. In tennis I am a four year Varsity player, my freshman and sophomore year I played #2 singles and my junior and senior year I played #1 singles. My freshman and sophomore year I was a state qualifier. I have been selected all four years for the All Blue Water Area First Team Award. I have been captain for two years and received Most Valuable Freshman award, Captain's Award, and MVP. In Volleyball I was a right side hitter and played a little back row. I received my Varsity letter, and was honored with the All Blue Water Area Honorable Mention award. I also received a Varsity letter in soccer and played on the freshman and junior varsity basketball team. I participated in track in Junior High.
Academics
I have been on the Honor Roll all my years in school. I have been honored with many teacher recognition awards, have received the board of education award for three years for achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have earned my academic letter all four years. I have been selected to be a member of National Honors Society for achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher. I have also been selected to be a P.A.S.S mentor, a program in which seniors mentor freshman, teaching them how to balance their time to excel in school. As of now I am taking calculus, anatomy and physiology, honors physics, and honors chemistry. Due to very hard work I have been maintaining an A in all of these classes.
