Arts
I have been involved in dramatic arts almost all of my life. Ever since I was very young I have been in various church plays. In high school I have been even more involved in dramaic arts. I recieved the Dramatic Arts award at my school my junior year. I've been in my schools varsity choir for two years. I played Felix in our production of the Odd Couple. I've also played Willard in Footloose, Tinman in Wizard of Oz, and Rooster in Annie at my school and community theaters. I recieved the Junior Leadership Award in varsity choir my junoir year. I am now a senior and I am the VP of varsity choir. I am also the president of our schools Improv Team which I am also a co-founder of. I also recieved the Overall Male Actor of the Year award at the Mike Beaty talant expo in 2011.
Community Service
I have volunteered over 100 hours of community service. When I was little I went on my first church mission trip to Mexico to help build an orphanage. My hours have come from local events like fairs and haunted houses. I have been working at a local haunted house for the past 4 years. I have also helped at my local food pantry and helped build a house with Habitat for Humanity.
Academics
I have always tried to keep my grades up as high as possible. I have had A's and B's about my whole life. I've been on my schools Education Reconition Association (ERA) for the past 6 years, which starts in the 6th grade. Meaning that I have kept a 3.0 GPA. I have prooved that I can keep my grades while also doing other school activities and community activities.
