ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I excel in Academics quite well. I have been holding a 3.8 GPA for two years now. I am currently taking a College Algebra Dual Enrollment class and will be taking a Trigonometry Dual Enrollment class too. I have taken Honors Earth and Space and Honors Biology. I have been an Honor Roll Student every year since 6th grade. I have taken the PACT and the PSAT. I plan on taking the ACT and SAT this spring. On my PACT my score ranged from a 20 - 25, while getting more close to a 24. I have placed 3rd overall in my high school's science fair. I have been taking math honors class for three years now. I enjoy school and I work very hard in all my academics.
Community Service
I love participating in community service. I have been in our high school's National Honors Society for a year now. I have volunteered at our high school's blood drive. I have helped cleaned our town, Buckeye, for two years now on the National Clean Clean Up Day. I have volunteered with my church to help families and to help around our community. I have helped many boys in our community with their Eagle Scout projects for Boy Scouts of America. I have helped paint a mural underneath a freeway for the city of Phoenix. I have helped at Fall Festivals and Winter Festivals at many schools such as Lattie Coor Elementary, Scott Libby Elementary, and Youngker High School. I have done this for many years in a row. I have also participated in Relay for Life and plan to participate in it again.
Athletics
I have played basketball since I was six years old. I played basketball for a club team as a child. I played basketball for school in 6th grade, 8th grade, and 9th grade. I played volleyball in 6th and 8th grade for school too. I have taken classes for tennis for two years. I was on my high school's swim and dive team for a year. I have been throwing the discus in Track and Field for five years now. I was on my middle school's team in 7th grade. I have been on my high school's Track and Field team for three years. I have gone to invitationals for Track and Field for three years. I hit the state's preliminary mark for discus last year. I have ran the 200, 400, and 800 meter dash. I have done long jump and high jump. I also threw shot put for 3 years.
