ATTRIBUTES
Athletics
I am a contributor and well known swimmer for the swim team at my school. As only a Freshman, I had become an exceptionally good swimmer. I was considered for and actually competed in an event for the State Championships that (2011) year as well. I have been swimming most of my life, starting at a young age, and hope to continue swimming competitively later in life (such as college if I get the chance). Through my earlier life, i had participated in a variety of other sports such as soccer, softball and baseball, diving, basketball, and track. I have always been healthy with a very good amount of exercise every single day.
Academics
I used to be taught with high standards by my mother until the seventh grade. From there, I was always ranked the top-AIMS-performer for my middle school. I have been in Honor roll classes and hope to keep it that way until I exit as a graduated Senior of high school. Until then, I have been trying my hardest: enrolling myself in some of the most challenging classes and taking on a handful of after-school clubs at a time. I have never in my life had a GPA below a 3.0. In fact, for my Freshman year I had been given an award for having a 4.0 GPA all throughout my school year and still have a 4.0 GPA now. I take on the many different types of practice tests such as the PSAT's and PACT's so i can be prepared for my future.
Community Service
Ever since I had been eligible for lending a hand, I have. As a fourth grader, I had helped out with the babysitting service in my church. When I got into sixth grade, I moved up to being the security and assistant teacher for all of the children's ministry events. As soon as I got into my Freshman year, I had become the actual teacher for the kids and still am even to today. During most of my Freshman year, I became a volunteer at a local animal shelter. There, I had helped socialize many animals as well as help them find a home to adopt them out to. I took on a few jobs there, like being an assistant for a vet. I have done many tiny jobs as well, such as help out in elder homes (teaching them how to send emails, giving them gifts, etc.). I still today look to lend a hand.
