Academics
I am in my Biotechnology Academy who ranks at the top 5 of 36 people. I am ahead of credits because I always do extracurricular and attend summer school programs. I am a senior and this 1st semester I am only taking 5 classes but next 2nd semester I am going to take full 6 classes. I couldn't take 6 classes my first semester because the class I wanted was full and it was psychology but hopefully 2nd semester it will be open. I've receive many certifications throughout my high school year and getting more as years go by. Since I am a senior I can't wait to receive my High School Diploma and certification for my academy. My teachers would consider me as outstanding and is always the first one to get stuff down.
Community Service
For the last 6 years of my life I have been in a program called “Santa Clara County Park JR. Ranger” where we help out the environment sustaining the stability of parks and rivers. We meet once a month for 10 months every year. I have recently completed 150 hours of community service, and also promoted had Jr. Ranger Leader. I also help out with my old Elementary school on events and programs when they have one such as holidays, charities, and also tutorials. Currently I am tutoring two sophomores and 1 junior with their classes that there having problem with. I am there mentor currently pushing to do the right things and have a good future.
Arts
I am passionate about my performance art class which is my choir. I have been singing every since born I learn using the internet and my mother. We recently had a winter show case and I auditioned for a song that I got “In the Still of the Night by Boyz II Men”. It was amazing singing it in front of people, my parents were proud of what I did and from that performance I receive an certification from my choir teacher for being and outstanding lead role for a performance. I also like to play the percussion although I am not the lead role for the percussion I have my voice to use and that’s fine for me. Next year were having a spring concert and my choir teacher said that I should sing for the showcase which i happily took.
