Athletics
I am a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I have been participating in the sport since I was 10 years old. I have competed nationally and even internationally going all the way to Croatia. I am also a 2 time national champion. I have attended many different schools so I have learned many different types of techniques and weapons. Now I am a teacher at a community Rec-Center teaching kids how to defend themselves.
Community Service
Since the 8th grade I have been teaching a computer class at my local senior center. Every week I give 1 on 1 classes teaching seniors how to use the computer. I teach them the basics and I even help them set up an email account to keep them in contact with their families.
Academics
I have always been working hard to keep up my grades. In the 6th grade I started homeschooling and in the 9th grade I found virtual schooling through Connections Academy. Being virtual schooled gives me the flexibility I need to do things like teach at the senior center. Since the 9th grade I have excelled in English and social studies. I took honors English 9 and 10, and Honors United States History. This year I am taking AP English 11 and AP World History. I have even take 2 years of Chinese. Throughout all of high school I have obtained all Aís and Bís getting me on the honor roll twice a year.
