ATTRIBUTES
Other Achievements
I am a well rounded person. I am involved in many clubs and associations. I am the Kennard Dale FFA President where I have been very involved for the past three years. I am the Vice President of the Maryland Junior Simmental Association and a member of many other agricultural associations and a member of the Black Horse 4-H Club. I have won many awards like 15th nationally for sales talk, 20th nationally for skill-a-thon, and 17th nationally for public speaking. At the Big E I have won 1st in the east United States for livestock judging, along with 3rd at the PA FFA State Days last year and 4th the year before. I have also won many other awards for my agricultural knowledge and skills too.
Athletics
I am very athletic. I currently play high school Varsity Volleyball and Varsity Basketball. I also use to play high school Junior Varsity Soccer during my freshman and sophomore years. I have been playing each point of every game of Varsity Volleyball since my freshman year. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall left handed player and I play the whole way around the volleyball court. For basketball I am a solid 160 pounds so I play guard because I am quick but I also play forward because I am tough and I can rebound because I have an above average vertical. I am in the class Sports Performance 1 and highest vertical as of the first day of school is 29.5 inches and the school record is only 31 inches. I am determined to brake that vertical record.
Work
I have a hectic schedule with all the clubs and sports I play in so I holding a job is tough. But I have worked for a lawn care company, a feed mill, multiple farmers helping bale hay and straw and picking cherries. Because I have a hard time working with strict work schedules I started my own lawn care business six years ago. I currently own a riding mower, a push mower, and a string trimmer. The biggest thing I am known for is that I raise and show cattle. I currently own 15 head of Purebred Simmental and Simangus cattle. I am planning to have a calf crop of eight calves for this year. I have bought and shown my cattle and calves across the country and I won many champions and reserves. I am also very proud that I won Premier Simmental Breeder at the Maryland State Fair.
