ATTRIBUTES
Academics
Although I have always had a passion for athletics, academics have always been the focus of my life. I have always studied as hard as I can to do the absolute best that I can. Ever since freshman year, I have been on the high honor rolls at both of my high schools. At my first high school, I was in the Top 25. When I left my junior year, I was 20th in my class of over 800 people. At my new school, they do not rank their students. Ever since freshman year, I have excelled in all honors and AP/ IB classes. I am always looking for a challenge, and it is through academics that I am able to get that challenge.
Athletics
In terms of athletics, I have been heavily involved throughout my entire high school career. Beginning with freshman year, I started JV volleyball and dressed varsity. During the high school off season, I played club volleyball. During my sophomore year, I started varsity and captain. I also played club volleyball during this off season too. During my junior year, I continued to start varsity volleyball. Due to an injury, I was not able to play club volleyball. Luckily by the time that spring came, I was better, and I started playing lacrosse. During the fall of my senior year, I ran cross country. During the winter, I plan on playing indoor lacrosse. And to end my senior year, I will play varsity lacrosse for my high school.
Work
I am a hostess at Harry & Izzy's. I have held this job since December of 2010. I work aout 15 hours or more a week, when I am not playing sports. I absolutely love my job. Through my job, I have developed into a much stronger person than I was when I first started working. I have developed stronger people, time management, and business skills. I have learned how to respond to people with all types of attitudes and personalities. I have also learned the proper ways to respond in all types of situations, from dealing with celebrities to emergencies. My hard work at Harry & Izzy's has definitely paid off in other ways too. I have developed great friendships with people of all types. I have also received a raise for all of my hard work.
