ATTRIBUTES
Athletics
I have been a four-year starter on my school's varsity basketball and volleyball teams. I have recieved honors such as all-district, and mvp of tournaments. I am the captain of both of these sports teams and my teammates look to me when they need help with anything both on and off of the court. I love sports, especially basketball, and spend most of my time pursuing this sport and bettering myself for the season. This is my last year playing high school basketball and I am really looking forward to it. Without sports, my high school experiences would not be nearly as great as they have been. Between all of the hard practices, long bus rides, loses, and wins, athletics have made me who I am today.
Faith
Faith is a huge part of my life. I am a Christian, and I could not be more proud. Ever since I was a little girl, I would spend my summers at the Badlands Ministries Bible Camp in Medora, North Dakota. Learning about God and strengthening my faith for one week out of the summer was a great experience. I learned so much through those seven years of bible camp summers that I would never trade for anything. I loved that bible camp so much that I decided to be a camp counselor myself. I was a counselor for our local bible camp in Scranton, North Dakota. I was usually assigned to the younger kids such as kindergarteners and first graders. I enjoyed that more than older kids, though, because I got to help them start their faith in God.I believe that my faith is a large attribute to my greatness.
Academics
Academics are very important to me. I have been the top of my class my entire high school career. I have also succeeded in staying on the “A” honor role for from seventh grade through my senior year. I am a leader in the classroom, and my classmates look to me for help in both their schoolwork and out of the classroom. I am an officer for my school’s National Honor Society. I believe keeping my grades up is very important for my high school education. I strive to constantly keep my education growing and help my classmates do better as well. I plan on being an educator myself as I major in Secondary English Education. I hope to keep education an important factor for the rest of my being.
