Arts
I am the Drum Major for the Westfield High School Marching Band. I take a lot of pride in what I do musically and I am very involved in music. I currently compose some music myself. I also like to rewrite popular songs for ensembles. i have my own jazz band and I have always been first chair in the band on any saxophone. When I go off to college, I plan on majoring in music education. But I do need the money in order to pay for my expenses.
Athletics
I have played soccer for 4 years total. I love playing high school athletics as well as any sport outside of school. I play summer soccer as well as winter indoor soccer. When I am able to, I play sports with my friends at parks. All around, I am a very athletic person who loves to participate in anything sports-related. It would be amazing if I was able to afford the cost of college athletics, since I definitely love to play and I would dedicate myself towards it.
Work
I have worked since I was legally able to, which was at the age of fourteen. I've worked at several places, but never have I been fired from a job. I have seen people come and go in the time I've worked at certain places. The main reason I work is so that I am able to save up my money and pay for at least some of my college expenses. I am stuck paying for my college on my own since both of my parents are financially incapable of paying for my college. I currently live with my aunt and uncle who are my guardians. But, unfortunately, they are incapable of paying for my college expenses and tuition as well. Work has also given me a very good understanding on how to deal with everyday scenarios.
