ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I take a very challenging course load with several AP and honors classes. I work hard in all of my classes and strive to do my best all the time. I pull mostly A's with a couple of B's. I have a 4.3 cumulative weighted GPA. By challenging myself with difficult classes and attempting to get the best grades I can I think I am helping prepare myself to achieve in college. My favorite subjects are math and science and due to my love of science I am planning on becoming a Biology major. My favorite class this year is Human Physiology. It discusses the anatomy and physiology of the human body and I find it very interesting!
Athletics
All four years I have participated in Athletics. I have played Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Water Polo, Swimming, and Diving. I enjoy participating in sports because it keeps me healthy but it also helps me manage my time better for school. I also enjoy working with my teammates to achieve a common goal of improving and succeeding. Like my academics, I always strive to do my best even when faced with adversity. No matter what the score is, I never give up. Succeeding is not always about winning or losing, it is about working hard, never giving up, and improving every single time you walk onto the court or jump in the pool.
Faith
I am a member of youth ministry at my local church. This year I am a leader and I help plan activities for the entire youth group to participate in. We meet about once a week to get together, have some fun, and help each other grow in our faith. Last year we went to a large youth conference in Los Angeles which was a wonderful experience. I also helped with Vacation Bible School last year which was an enlightening experience. I also volunteer at my church. Since third grade I have been an altar server, and this year I became a lector. Helping at Church is great because you know you are working for the good of the entire community.
