Academics
I have chosen the most difficult class schedule every year, enrolling in all the AP classes possible. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA and received first honors throughout all of highschool. I tutor other students in various subjects. I have earned many academic awards, including the Excellence Award, the Corona Studii Award, National Honor Society membership, Summa Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam 3 consecutive years, received several awards for my class ranking (Summa, Magna, and Maxima). I work extremely hard in school. I am a Kentucky Governor's Scholar and Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership alum. I am involved with many extracurriculars/clubs/sports while doing extremely well academically.
Athletics
I am a very hard worker and this is evident while I play sports. I play soccer, basketball, and run track. I have participated in varsity athletics in all three of these sports since freshman year, and I have received many honors and awards through these sports. In 2010 and 2011 I was an honorable mention to the All-Northern Kentucky Girls All-Region Soccer Team, and selected to the 2010 and 2011 All-Tournament District Soccer Team, District 20. I scored 22 goals and had 17 assists my junior season. I have been the Varsity soccer team captain since sophomore year and named "Most Valuable Player" by my teammates and coaches. I have been the varsity basketball team captain since junior year and contribute many points and assists. In track I was awarded to the Academic All-State team.
Community Service
I volunteer myself in many ways. I have served at a local soup kitchen every month since fifth grade, I tutor other students in many subjects including Latin, history, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Math, I am a Pontifical server for the bishop of the Diocese of Covington, I volunteered at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center for a summer, I am a member of the Interact/Service club at school, I volunteer at many school functions, such as our school's entrance exam, I have attended the senior citizen prom several times, and I returned to the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Conference this past summer as a volunteering staff member. I really enjoy giving service of myself to others.
