ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have been an honor roll student since first grade. I have taking all available honors classes at my school for my grade. I have taking 2 AP classes so far, and I am enrolled for 2 more this upcoming year. In high school, I have received 2 awards from my Publications Class. I have received an English class award also. I have received many recommendations from my teachers for different things. I have already started my applications to the Universities I would like to consider. I received a 19 on my ACT. That is not something that I am proud of because I know that I can do much better. I will be taking it again.
Athletics
I am currently in the process of cheer leading tryouts. This will be my third year as a high school cheerleader. My first year I made Junior Varsity, and I got moved up to Varsity during the third game of the season. After I was moved up, I was on both Junior Varsity and Varsity. My second year of cheer leading, I made it to Varsity. Currently I am pushing for Captain of the Varsity Team. I have received "Most Improved Cheerleader" for the season of '11-'12. This is the only sport I am involved in as of now in high school. I hope to start Badminton once cheer leading is over. I workout with my team every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for the past year. My first year, I had to practice everything; since, I was on Junior Varsity and Varsity. I hope to get better each practice this year.
Government
I am in student council. I have been in student council for 2 years, going on 3 now. I have been vice president of my class for those 2 years, and for this upcoming year, I am Executive Board Vice President. I love Student Government because it allows for me to connect with every one. It also allows for me to speak for the students. They tell me what they want, and I try my best to give it to them. I work hard as a student and as a student government officer. Government can get a little difficult, but with the help of my wonderful team, we definitely get through it all. We have organized Homecoming, Walks for Cures, Dances, Retreats, Movie Nights, Pep Rallies, Spirit Week, and Dress Downs/
