ATTRIBUTES
Academics
Throughout high school i have been on the honor roll and maintain an A to B average in all of my classes. I participate in the FFA leadership class, and take a few vocational courses that our school offers, as well as taking the core classes needed to graduate. As my language class, I took french, and continued with it for all 3 years that our school offers. Throughout french, I rarely ever received anything below an A on a test, and my teacher reported that I had amazing skill. I have done well in science throughout all 3 years of high school, especially physics. I received an A both semesters of physics during my junior year.
Athletics
I participate on our high school girl's swim team. Since I joined swim my junior year, I have made great improvements and always work hard to try new things. I always give my best during every practice and at every meet. At every swim meet, I typically got a new personal record in at least one of my events. I have swam many races such as the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and the 100 backstroke. I set many goals throughout last season and met each one of them by the end. I dedicated myself to reaching any goal that I set for myself, and achieved each of them. I'm a quick learner, and it was no different in the pool. I quickly picked up on most of the strokes and techniques used by most swimmers.
Other Achievements
I'm an active member of my high schools FFA chapter. I am the chapter president, ranked 8th place overall in the state Extemporaneous Speaking contest, and have placed 7th place overall in the state in the livestock judging contest. I help plan events, and do many community service events. My junior year I served as the chapter treasurer, and going into my senior year, I'm serving as the chapter president. During my freshmen year, I was a junior officer and served as the junior historian. Through my years in FFA, I have raised beef projects, participated in creed speaking, agriculture issues, rituals team, green hand team, livestock judging team, and extemporaneous speaking. I have excelled through FFA all 3 years. This past year I also applied for, and received my FFA State Degree.
