ATTRIBUTES
Academics
As a high school student it is important to excel in academics. I take all honors and AP classes to challenge myself and to prepare for college. I have a 4.0 GPA which I take much pride in because I work extremely hard to keep my high GPA. I also take my academics seriously. To get accepted into a college and to attain many scholarships having good grades is essential. High school has taught me to take my education seriously. My teachers have pushed me to reach my fullest potential which has allowed me to be on the honor role every year, and to be selected to be in Beta Club. I have been selected to be in the NSHSS club which is a major accomplishment for my school.
Faith
My faith is the most important aspect in my life. I am involved with my local youth group I participate in praise band and the drama group offered at my church. I have attended Sunday School since I was in first grade and I also participated in the Bible drill team each year. I sing often in the choir on Sunday mornings and I am frequently asked to sing a solo. I am involved with my high school 1st Priority Club which meets for bible study before school. I am also involved in a girls bible study which takes place every Tuesday at my Sunday school teacher's house. My faith has led me to where I am today and I am very thankful for all that has been given to me.
Arts
I have been involved with the musical arts since I was five years old. I take piano lessons which is a major accomplishment for myself because I only have one hand. I have learned to read music and play the piano with ease over the past few years. Although I play the piano, singing is my first love. I take voice lessons with one of the top voice coaches in the state. I am involved with my school choir and church choir which keeps me busy. I was also selected to participate in the 2012 All-State choir in Alabama. I auditioned for the soprano 1 part of the choir and I was fortunate enough to get the part.
