ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I am number two of seventeen in my class. I have a 3.9 GPA. I scored a thirty one on my ACT. This school year I plan on taking calculus, physics, American government and college English among other classes. I have been on honor roll every quarter since seventh grade. I have been chosen to be on the school quiz bowl team every year since seventh grade. I have been chosen to compete in inter-high day, which brings together student from other schools in the area to compete in a variety of academic contests, both my sophomore and junior years.
Arts
I have participated in choir for three years and band for six years. I starred in the school musical my sophomore. I have recieved a superior rating at the district music competition for a flute solo, flute duet, vocal solo, vocal duet and vocal trio. I have attended Hastings honor choir for one year. I participated in UNK honor choir for two years. I attented Chadron honor choir for two years. I went to the Doane honor choir this year. I have participated in Class D All State band. I was an alternate soprano for All State Choir. I recently participated in a town talent show and have plans to participate in another this summer.
Other Achievements
I have been in National Honor Society for two years and this year I organized Red Ribbon Week for our elementary. I was class secretary and treasurer my freshman year. I have been on the Student Council for two years and I am the Student Council treasurer. I have been in FFA for three years. I was the chapter reporter my freshman year.I was the Wauneta-Palisade FFA chapter President last year and I am the chapter President this year also. I have particpated in many district FFA competitions. I participated in the State FFA food science competition my sophomore year. Our team placed second. Last year I participated in the State FFA Natural Resources competition and placed 12th individually. I was on the prom committee this year.
