ATTRIBUTES
Arts
During my high school years, I have participated in art classes and art club every year. Starting my Junior year, I was asked to be apart of honors art which is a rigorous course that requires love, dedication, and an abundance of perspiration. Along with entering the Scholastic competition and being awarded honorable mention for a photography piece, I was also apart of Celebrate the Arts which takes place in the spring of every year. Honorably, I displayed 4 portfolio pieces and one photography piece. Currently, my forte is acrylic painting and color pencil drawing. In addition, I have also taught myself Photoshop basics such as overlapping. Even though I love art, I only wish to keep it as a hobby.
Academics
At the beginning of my Sophomore year, I was inducted into the National Honor Society, and I have maintained my membership throughout high school. In addition, I have taken almost every honors and AP class offered at my school. Not only did I take the classes but also passed them with A/B averages. In middle school, I was apart of the AIG (Academically, Intellectually Gifted) program which gave me an advantage in math. When I graduate I will have Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB and BC, and Statistics under my belt. Also, I am in the top 20% percent of my class, and I am an active member of Art Club and Math Club.
Other Achievements
Every year since third grade, I have been awarded with an Academic Superstar Medal. In addition, I am currently shadowing not only a doctor of osteopathic but also a nurse anesthetist. I have been a dancer for most of my life, furthermore, since I was two. Also, I've been awarded with many medals at competitions in North and South Carolina. Beginning my sophomore year in high school, I began assisting dance classes. As an active member of math club and National Honor Society, I alone, have raised an abundance of money for select foundations and in-school scholarships.
