Academics
I have won Certificate of Participation in Drama at Millard North High School. I was the Chief of make-up for the Beauty and the Beast play and I have sketched the characters and what kind of make-up will suite them the best. I also did IB- MYP which stands for international Baccalaureate middle years program and here my project was to help the orphans in India by selling my art work and raising money which i had accomplished. I have raised around 100 dollars to help at least 6 orphans kids in India. I had also participated in National State German Student Competition Sixteen schools and more than 350 students were registered for the State German Student Convention and there were various events and i did poetry and won second place. I am also in Forensics and have won many tournaments
Community Service
I love to volunteer at various places because I feel like I am helping my community a lot by giving my time to help them and I feel proud of what I am doing. I volunteer at the lakeside hospital and this will be my fourth year volunteering there and I am became a teen leader for all the other volunteers. I have also done Omaha South Student Exchange Program, it is a leadership program in which it talks about the issues regarding the stereotypes that are shown in schools and how to prevent these. I also volunteer at the university of Nebraska medical center i work in the gift shop assisting customers needs. I have also taught dance lessons to two kids for a special Indian event called Ugadi which is a huge festival in India. I also teach art to kids who are interested in learning.
Other Achievements
I have my own art website and it is called www.pravallikaartgallery.webs.com. I also do various extracurricular activities in my school and they include: Knitten Kitten Club, this club shows interesting ways to knit and how to knit.Kids against hunger -- Somalia helped package food for Somalia people who were starving. Lunch Bunch Lunch Bunch is a club where we try to find ways to help the people who are alone at lunch and sitting by themselves to interact with others.German Club, Diversity club student council. Beauty and the Beast Play @ Millard North High School For this play I was the make-up crew Chief. I had to determine what kind of makeup should go on each character.
