ATTRIBUTES
Faith
My faith is the most important thing to me. I am sixteen years old, and I have been attending church for all of my life. I became a member two years ago, I am involved in the youth group. We host spaghetti suppers for the elderly in our church (though all ages are welcome), we hand out baskets to the elderly at Christmas, and we plan activities that the whole church can be involved in. Also, when I go to college, the first group I will look for will be the Campus Crusaders.
Academics
Academics are another important aspect of my life. I am an upcoming high school senior. However, I have been taking classes at a community college, in hopes of earning my Associates Degree a month before I graduate high school. I have almost a 5.0 GPA on a weighted 4.0 scale. In community college, my GPA is 4.0, and I made the President’s List this past spring. I am a member of National Honor Society and NSHSS. I take both of these seriously, and this past year, I was the treasurer for the National Honor Society. I am also tied for first in my class, and I hope I will be honored with the title of Valedictorian.
Arts
My favorite hobbies are reading and writing. Because of this, I have entered many writing contests. In elementary school, I won a few contests, though I don’t exactly remember which ones. I also won a crystal trophy, medal and plaque for a poem I submitted into a contest. When I won, the newspaper published an article about my successful feat. I have been cast in two plays. My first was Footloose, where I was just an extra, and my second was Aladdin, where I had a main part of narrator. I was also involved in band (marching and concert) and choir. I was selected for District Choir this past year.
