ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have been on the honor roll in junior high and now in high school. I have a 5.12 weighted and 4.68 non-weighted GPA. So far I have taken two AP courses and next year I will be taking three. I took a practice ACT as a sophomore last year and earned a 29. This year I am in all honors and AP courses and plan to continue to have a rigorous course. On my transcript I have all A's and B's and plan to continue to keep up my grades. I hope to graduate with highest honors, a weighted GPA of 5.2 or above. I plan to achieve this by taking more AP courses and excelling in them, not only in class but also on the AP test to achieve college credit.
Athletics
I was in many different sports in junior high and continued to be involved in high school. As a freshman i was on the girls' volleyball team. We participated in some fund-raising games and a few tournaments. During the off season in the winter i participated in a volleyball club. We had many tournaments and i gained a better appreciation for teamwork and working together. As a sophomore I joined my high school's cross country team. Again I participated in club volleyball during the winter until early spring. I feel that by being on a team I learned how to put aside some of my differences with other team members and appreciate what they bring to the sport and as a person.
Arts
I have always been involved in art programs. In junior high I took art classes as well as in high school. In high school I also took photography and plan to continue to take some form of art all throughout high school. I have also been playing the piano for about six years. Every year I participate in at least two piano competitions and plan to continue to learn, perform and play music. I feel like music is a big part of my life because it allows me to personalize a piece of music. I am allowed to but my personal touch on certain aspects of the music and it becomes original based on my personality.
