ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I am very hard working and will finish every task assigned to me. I will also put my best effort into the things assigned to me. When homework is assigned in school, I will get right to it and will also ask my teacher any questions I have. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am looking to maintain this GPA until the end of my high school career in three months. I am on the Distinguished Honors honor roll at my high school. I am a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society. I've also participated in Math League since 10th grade.
Community Service
I have been involved in community service with my church and with my high school's Key Club. I belong to St. Paul's United Methodist Church. With the youth group, I have cooked and served dinners at Sojourners Place, a homeless rehabilitation center in Wilmington, Delaware. I have participated in numerous Key Club volunteering events since 10th grade, totaling over 150 hours of community service. I have also participated in events with my school's National Art Honor Society this year. A group of students works with senior citizens in the nursing home near our school to complete art projects and activities.
Other Achievements
Music has been a huge part of my life. I started taking piano lessons when I was six years old, and playing the piano is one of the best things I've ever experienced. I am very passionate about the piano, and I love every aspect. Music is a great part of society, and I feel blessed to be able to share it with people. I love finding new pieces to learn, learning those pieces, and then sharing those pieces with friends, family, and others. I have participated in duet workshops, performed in many recitals and festivals, and worked in master class workshops with musicians.
