“Through entertainment I have found a light to illuminate causes shrouded in darkness, cameras to inspire many and true action throughout the world as a youth ambassador.”Alexandra graces the silver screen in Akeelah & the Bee, and lights up the stage when she sings. However, it's the message behind her work that makes her so outstanding. She aspires to "marry art and activism," and she's well on her way to reaching that goal. The Discus Awards encourage all students to maintain their pursuit of their passions, and Alexandra embodies that value tremendously. |
