When’s the best time to start planning for ‘life after college’?

Now!

Check out what John Salley, Brian Deegan, and others say about planning for life:

It’s never too early to start thinking about where you want to travel, what type of relationships do you want, what type of career you think you would enjoy, the impact you want to make in this world and how much money it will take for you to live the lifestyle you desire.

How you do this is simple. Write out those things you want (goals) and create plans to make them happen. Setting goals is essentially about turning your dreams into a reality.

The act of writing down your goals is like drawing a road map of the direction you want to go. The simple act of writing down what you want out of life will keep you focused and in control.

If you’re ever aspired to be financially independent—or even a millionaire!—that takes goal setting. Your life is your choice - so write out your goals now and design a plan to achieve them.

How to Live Your Dreams

  • Daydream about how those things you want out of life

  • Get these daydreams down in writing – just write do not judge.

  • Organize your goals by listing them in order of priority.

  • Create a rough plan to accomplish your goals. List out the steps that will help you get where you want to go.

  • Review your goals often – Every day would be excellent!

  • See it, believe it and think about achieving your goals.

You have the ability to get whatever you want in life. Setting goals may sound simple but it makes a tremendous impact on all areas of your life.
