About the High School Discus Awards

The Discus Awards are the next generation of high school awards, from the top of the college marketing field

In today’s changing landscape of college admissions, an award that focuses only on numbers doesn’t make the grade. The Discus Awards honor the kind of unconventional students education marketing companies care about: all-around students who shine in at least three of ten “key attributes.”  Students in grades 9-12 can nominate themselves or their friends, and teachers, counselors, and parents can nominate someone they know. Nominations are free, and easy to complete at www.DiscusAwards.com and on Facebook.

 

Behind the Discus

The Discus Awards spring from a partnership between longtime educational services company Campus Direct and the internationally regarded awards company Recognition Media.
